Flautista desde os 8 anos, quando descobriu que não existia só o Violino, mas sim toda uma panóplia de instrumentos musicais. Começou na Banda dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Ílhavo – Música Nova e nunca mais largou a música (nem a flauta a ela). Licenciada pela ESMAE e mestre em ensino de Música pela Universidade de Aveiro, é professora de flauta transversal, ajudando futuros músicos a dominar a respiração, a flauta e a performance. Além de ensinar, toca em várias orquestras, como a Orquestra da Costa Atlântica e a Orquestra Filarmónica Portuguesa e espalha ritmo com a We Tum Tum. Como se não bastasse, agora também estuda contabilidade – porque alguém tem de fazer as contas dos cachets e garantir que a vida de músico não é só arte, mas também números (e talvez uns descontos fiscais). Entre partituras, alunos e balanços financeiros, segue afinada, sempre a dar música à vida!

A flautist since the age of eight, she discovered a whole range of musical instruments beyond just the violin. She began her musical journey with the Ílhavo Volunteer Firefighters Band – Música Nova and has never lost her passion for music or her flute. She graduated from ESMAE and earned a master’s degree in Music Teaching from the University of Aveiro. As a transverse flute teacher, she helps aspiring musicians master breathing techniques, flute playing, and performance skills. In addition to teaching, she performs with several orchestras, including the Orquestra da Costa Atlântica and the Orquestra Filarmônica Portuguesa. She also spreads rhythm with the group We Tum Tum. As if that weren’t enough, she is now studying accounting—because someone needs to handle the math and ensure that a musician’s life involves not just art, but also financial literacy (and perhaps some tax breaks). Between sheet music, students, and financial statements, she remains in tune, always bringing music to life!
